Approach and anchoring
Approach from the outer channel of Dunkerque, accessible at all tidal heights. Entrance to the marina basin is floating, no lock. Watch for commercial traffic in the main channel and keep clear of the ferry route to Dover. VHF 9 for the harbour master.
Practical
250 berths with water and shore power on the pontoons. Fuel station on site. Maximum draught 2 m. Yacht Club de la Mer du Nord sits 0.2 NM to the south. The commercial port of Dunkerque lies 0.3 NM to the southwest.
Ashore
Beach of Malo-les-Bains along the seafront at 600 m, with the 1900s promenade and villas. City centre and the Port Museum, housing the three-masted Duchesse Anne, at 2 km. Dunes de Flandre coastal path east from the marina towards Leffrinckoucke.
