Approach and anchoring
Lying on Matanzas Pass, reached from San Carlos Bay through the dredged channel and its no-wake zone. The fixed bridge between San Carlos and Estero islands has 65 feet of clearance.
Practical
A full-service boatyard handling mechanical, electrical and engine work, with a boat hoist able to lift vessels up to 125 feet. There is a fuel dock and a ship store. The yard added a 27,000 square foot service building during a redevelopment of the site.
History
Diversified Yacht Services was established in 1994 and later rebuilt the former Fort Myers Beach marina premises on this site.
