Approach and anchoring

Reached through the lagoon channels on the bay side of Seaside Heights. Bay water is shallow; the Intracoastal Waterway carries a target depth of about 6 feet at low water.

Practical

A small full-service marina with seasonal berths and boat service. Docksider Marina lies 0.6 nautical miles to the north and Seaside Park Yacht Club 1.6 nautical miles to the south.

History

The marina is named after Cranberry Inlet, a natural ocean inlet that opened opposite the mouth of the Toms River around 1750 and closed by 1812, near the present Ortley Beach and Seaside Heights boundary.
