Approach and anchoring

Approached from Lake Superior into the Lower Harbour. The ore dock stands immediately south of the marina, so keep clear of freighter traffic on the approach.

Practical

104 berths, 12 of them kept for transient boats. Shore power and WiFi, petrol and diesel, showers and heads. Run by the City of Marquette, open early May to late October. Following winter damage, the 2026 season opening was expected by late May.

Ashore

Downtown Marquette is within walking distance for shops, restaurants and provisions. The lakeshore multi-use path runs past the marina towards Presque Isle Park.
