Approach and anchoring
Sand and rock bottom, holding variable on rock. Sheltered from NE to SE, exposed to westerlies which funnel across the open water. Port de Pareloup lies 2.8 NM W.
Practical
No fuel or chandlery at the anchorage. Campsite ashore has a small shop and ramp in season. Water level falls sharply in late summer, EDF operates the reservoir for hydro production.
Ashore
Beau Rivage beach and restaurant directly ashore. Swimming area supervised in July and August. Village of Salles-Curan 3 km by road, with Romanesque church and 14th century archbishops' residence.
