Approach from the S in clear water. Sheltered from N, NE, W and NW; exposed to E through S swell. Anchor on sand patches and avoid dropping on the posidonia seagrass, which is protected under French law.

Ashore
Cap Bénat is a private wooded peninsula with no public landing at the mooring itself. The sentier du littoral runs along the coast and gives walking access to neighbouring coves. Village of Bormes-les-Mimosas, a labelled site with a medieval castle, is 3 km inland from the port.
