Approach and anchoring

Approach from the north-east across the Golfe de Valinco. Bottom is rock with patches of coarse sand; look for a sand patch and check the anchor by snorkelling. Shelter from SE, S and SW behind the headland; exposed to winds from the northern sector and to morning thermal breezes off the gulf.

Practical

No services in the cove. Port de Propriano, 2.7 NM NE, has 440 berths with visitor space, fuel berth, water, electricity, chandlery and a capitainerie on VHF 9. Porto Pollo marina, 4.5 NM NW, is an alternative refuge on the opposite shore of the gulf.

Ashore

Coast path along the south shore of the Golfe de Valinco links the cove to Campomoro and its Genoese tower, about 5 km on foot. Campomoro-Senetosa protected coastal area, managed by the Conservatoire du littoral, covers the whole southern shore.
