Approach and anchoring
Reached off State Highway 146. The approach carries about 5 feet at mean low water, so watch the state of the tide on the way in and out. Dockside depth is around 14 feet.
Practical
About 135 berths from 35 to 55 feet, with longer berths to 250 feet. Shore power 30 and 50 amp, fresh water, heads, showers, laundry and a boaters' lounge. Fuel berth with ValvTect petrol and diesel. New docks and storm-surge platforms after a full refit.
Ashore
Bayland Park sits on the same island, with the Buddy McBride public boat ramp, a picnic area overlooking the Fred Hartman Bridge, and a Hyatt Regency hotel.
