Approach and anchoring

The marina stands on Clear Lake, just west of the State Highway 146 bridge over the channel linking Clear Lake to Galveston Bay. Galveston Bay is about 5 minutes' run away. Covered floating docks give a 28-foot constant vertical clearance.

Practical

More than 650 berths for sail and power craft up to 38 metres, including catamaran berths and covered floating docks. The shipyard handles bottom jobs, fibreglass and Awlgrip work, engine service, rigging and bow thruster fitting. Pool and fitness centre on site.

Ashore

Carefree Boat Club operates from the same marina, and the Blue Marlin fuel berth is at the site. Waterfront dining at Kemah and the Johnson Space Center are both within easy reach by road.
