Approach and anchoring

Reached by the Ill from the north or the Canal du Rhône au Rhin from the south. Transit through the city requires opening of the écluse Vauban and the écluse du Ban de la Roche. Air draught limited by several bridges, notably the Pont de l'Abattoir. No commercial traffic in the inner basins.

Practical

Small freshwater basin run by the Société Nautique de Strasbourg. Water and power on the pontoons, no fuel berth on site. Visitor berths by prior arrangement. Tram stop Étoile-Bourse at 300 m links the base to the city centre.

Ashore

Quartier de la Krutenau and Place d'Austerlitz at 500 m, cafés and restaurants around Place Sainte-Madeleine. Cathédrale Notre-Dame at 1,3 km, Petite France quarter at 1,7 km. European Parliament and Parc de l'Orangerie reachable by tram in 15 minutes.
