Approach and anchoring
No enclosed harbour. Launching from the beach, tide-dependent, with strong currents along the Baie d'Authie to the south. Exposed to westerly winds across the full fetch of the Channel.
Practical
Sailing club facilities and slipway. No visitor berths and no fuel on site. Shops, restaurants and supermarket within the seaside resort.
Ashore
Baie d'Authie nature reserve starts 3 km south of the base, with seal colonies on the sandbanks. Parc du Marquenterre ornithological reserve lies about 15 km south by road.
