Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south-west across the Golfe de Valinco. Sand and weed bottom, patchy holding on algae so drop in a clear sand patch. Open to westerly swell. Port de Propriano lies 0.6 NM to the south-west as a refuge in bad weather.
Practical
Mooring forain with no services on site. All shops, water and fuel at Propriano marina, reached by dinghy or a short sail. Thermal baths of Baracci sit behind the beach at roughly 600 m.
Ashore
Plage de Baracci runs along the head of the bay. Sulphur hot springs of Baracci behind the beach at about 600 m. Propriano town centre and market at 1.2 km by the coast road.
