Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north through the Perros-Guirec channel, buoyed by the Basse Guazer and Pierre du Chenal beacons. The anchorage lies east of Trestraou beach off the Pointe du Château. Shelter from N round to NW through W; exposed to E and NE winds. Drying rocks fringe the east side. VHF 9.
Practical
Perros-Guirec marina 0.3 NM SW holds the nearest services: water, diesel, showers, chandlery. Town centre shops 400 m inland from the marina. Ploumanac'h harbour 2.3 NM NW as a fallback in strong easterlies.
Ashore
Sentier des Douaniers GR 34 runs along the pink granite outcrops from Trestraou beach to Ploumanac'h, 4.5 km of coastal path past the Ploumanac'h lighthouse and the Maison du Littoral. Trestraou sand beach 500 m from the marina.
