Approach and anchoring

Anchorage on a ledge of sand mixed with posidonia. Drop the hook clear of seagrass patches to protect the meadow and improve holding. Open to easterly winds and swell. Shelter from NW through W and S to SE.

Practical

Mooring forain only, no services on site. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat harbour lies about 0.3 nm to the west for fuel, water and shops. Port des Fourmis sits about 1 nm to the NW as a secondary refuge.

Ashore

Sentier du littoral runs around the Cap Ferrat peninsula and passes above the anse. Village of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat with bakery, grocers and restaurants is reachable in about 15 minutes on foot from the Saint-Jean harbour. Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its gardens stand on the ridge of the peninsula.
