Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east, between the Pointe des Fourmis and the beach. Sandy bottom with patches of Posidonia seagrass, avoid dropping the anchor on weed. Holding only fair on sand alone. Sheltered from NW through W to SW, fully open to the E and SE swell.
Practical
Water tap on the quay of the adjacent Port des Fourmis, 0,2 NM to the N. No fuel berth in the bay itself. All shops, restaurants and the SNCF station of Beaulieu-sur-Mer within 300 m of the shore.
Ashore
Promenade Maurice Rouvier footpath along the coast to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in about 1 km. Villa Kerylos, a reconstruction of an ancient Greek house built in 1902 by the archaeologist Theodore Reinach, sits directly above the beach. Casino and old town of Beaulieu 200 m from the anchorage.
