Approach and anchoring

Entered from the Patapsco River by the marked main harbour channel, then into the Canton basin. Floating docks with approach and dockside depths around 4.5 metres, and no tidal restriction in the inner harbour.

Practical

About 565 berths for vessels up to 45 metres, around 100 of them transient. Floating docks, 30 and 50 amp shore power, water, WiFi and in-slip pump-out. Showers, three laundry rooms, a boaters' lounge and a swimming pool. West Marine one block away and a Safeway across the street.

Ashore

Canton Waterfront Park lies along the shore. The bars and restaurants of Canton Square are about 700 metres inland, and the cobbled streets of Fells Point are roughly 1.5 km west along the harbour promenade.
