Isolated ICW marina at the northwest corner of the Alligator River swing bridge in eastern North Carolina, the only fuel and dockage stop between Coinjock and Belhaven.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Coming south on the ICW, leave the bridge to port after it opens and pick up the green day markers number 1 and 3 to port, running parallel to the bridge. Enter the marina basin between markers 5 and 6. The Alligator River bridge does not open if wind exceeds 30 knots and closes at 35. The channel up the river is known for shoaling, stick to the markers.
Practical
32 slips plus 800 feet of linear dockage, with depths around 6 feet. Water and power on the slips. Showers, lounge, small restaurant and a basic ship's store in the main building. Diesel and petrol at the fuel berth. No town within walking distance, the marina sits on its own at the foot of the bridge.
