Approach and anchoring
Sand and weed bottom. Shelter from NE, E and SE winds. Fully exposed to the libeccio from the west. Leave in good time if the wind backs. Erbalunga lies 6.8 nm to the east across the cape, Saint-Florent 7.9 nm to the south.
Ashore
Albo is a hamlet of the commune of Ogliastro. Black pebble beach of Albo at the foot of the anchorage, a remnant of the former asbestos quarry of Canari that operated from 1948 to 1965, visible 2 km to the north. Tour de l'Osse, a Genoese watchtower of the 16th century, stands 3 km to the south on the coast road D80.
