Approach and anchoring

Four-way waterway node. From the west, arrival by the Canal latéral à la Loire. From the east, arrival by the Canal du Centre from Paray-le-Monial and Chalon-sur-Saône. The pont-canal de Digoin carries the canal over the Loire on 11 stone arches, length 243 m, opened in 1838.

Practical

50 berths at the port, set beneath a busy motorway bridge opposite a boat rental base. Sanitary facilities are basic, a shower and a single squat toilet at extra cost, accessible only from 06:00 to 08:30 and 16:00 to 18:30. The capitainerie keeps short and irregular hours. Town shops, bakeries and the rail station are about 20 minutes away on foot.
