Practical
Free pontoon with room for about four to five boats. Electricity and water are available for a couple of euros each, through a system that is not easy to find, and the water point is not always working. Town of Pompey within 1 km for bakery and shops.
History
Pompey grew around the Aciéries de Pompey steelworks founded in 1872, which supplied beams for the Eiffel Tower and the Viaduc de Garabit before closing in 1986.
