Approach and anchoring
Enter the Golfe du Morbihan through the pass between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer, where tidal streams run up to 8 knots at spring tides. Anchor north of the Pointe du Blair, clear of the Locmariaquer channel. Holding is mixed on sand with patches of weed, sound for clean sand before dropping.
Practical
No services at the mooring. Ponton du Blair 0.1 nm southeast takes small tenders for landing. Locmariaquer village 1.2 nm south has shops, bakery and restaurants.
Ashore
Site of the Table des Marchand and the Grand Menhir Brisé, a Neolithic megalithic complex, accessible on foot from Locmariaquer village. Sentier côtier runs along the pointe. Oyster farms of the Auray river mouth visible from the anchorage.
