Approach and anchoring
Approach from the main channel of the golfe du Morbihan. Strong tidal streams in the narrows between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer, up to 9 knots at springs, and 2 to 3 knots run across the anchorage itself, so lay plenty of chain, around 40 m. The bottom is sand with rocky patches, and the mooring buoys here are private and should not be used. Anchor clear of the marked channel and oyster parks, and expect motorboats passing close by.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no service ashore. A tender lands easily on the small beach, from which a hiking path leads inland. Nearest refuges for water are Kerners-Bilouris pontoon 1.3 nm SW and Port-Blanc 1.3 nm N.
