Approach and anchoring

Six buoys laid on sand, used while waiting for the lock gate that gives access to the Bassin du Linkin. The lock opens around HW plus or minus 1h30. The buoys roll heavily for about two hours either side of high water, even at small tidal coefficients, so anchoring closer inshore is more comfortable overnight. Shelter from NW through S to SE; the buoyage is exposed to winds from E and NE.

Practical

No services on the buoys. Capitainerie on VHF 9 in Perros-Guirec, 0.9 nm to the SW once the lock opens. Port Le Goff lies 2.3 nm to the E.

Ashore

Plage de Trestraou and the start of the Sentier des Douaniers to Ploumanac'h are within 1 km of the inner harbour, passing the pink granite boulders of the Côte de Granit Rose.
