Approach and anchoring
Boats can anchor off the marina pontoon. In 2024 a boat at anchor was asked to move clear of the charter moorings. In 2022 dinghies could land at the Vela Blue Yacht Club pontoon, which has a restaurant.
Practical
Charter yachts take many of the berths, and the 50 ft charter fleet returns at weekends. In 2020 the phone answer was that only charter yachts could berth. In 2022 a 34 ft boat was refused for lack of space while berths stood empty. Online requests went unanswered in 2020 and 2024. In 2024 water was refused to a boat at anchor. In 2019 the office was in the bar, and there was a small supermarket.
