Approach and anchoring
Anchor on sand in 4 to 6 m, a short distance from the harbour of Loano. The anchorage is settled in a northerly but can roll heavily in other winds. In 2022 it turned uncomfortable once waves reached 0.7 m. In summer 2023, music from the beaches ran past 1 a.m. and restarted at 8 a.m. Trains can be heard from the anchorage.
Practical
A dinghy can land at a quay just before the harbour entrance, for the beach and restaurants. Two fuel stations stand opposite the anchorage. Mosquitoes were present in July 2026.
