Approach and anchoring
Anchor on sand in 3 to 4 m off the beach and the hotel, clear of the harbour entrance. Holding is good. The best shelter from swell is close to the harbour pier, just outside the swimming-zone buoys. A kedge holds the bow into the swell. In June 2025 fishing buoys filled much of the bay. In July 2026 swell made the anchorage uncomfortable for the night despite light winds. Boats returning to harbour send a wash in the evening.
Practical
Dinghies can be left in the marina next to the anchorage, which also has water.
Ashore
A walk along the beaches leads into Finale Ligure, which has many restaurants.
