Guide
Approach and anchoring
Sheltered from east round to south, open to the west and north. Sand and rock: anchors may only be set in sand, with no part of the anchor or chain touching coral. The NPS publishes the coordinates of the Lind Point anchoring box. Vessels over 210 feet may not anchor in the park.
Practical
Overnight anchoring from 5 pm to 7 am costs USD 26 a night, paid in advance at the Cruz Bay finger pier station or through Recreation.gov, with at most 7 consecutive nights in one bay and 30 nights a year. Cruz Bay is a short dinghy ride south.
Ashore
The NPS Lind Point Trail links the Cruz Bay visitor centre with Honeymoon Beach on the far side of the point.
