Practical
32 visitor and resident berths managed by the municipality of Plobannalec-Lesconil, open April to October, with the office closed Monday and Tuesday, so phone ahead. Places are few and the catways fill fast, though boats can raft on the east-side pontoon. The harbour office and sanitary block were rebuilt in 2025 and the showers are now spacious and very clean. Water on the quay, no fuel berth. Around 26 to 39 euros a night. Bakery, grocery, a small mini-market 150 m away and fishmongers in the village, with fresh landings sold at the criée in the afternoon.
Ashore
GR 34 coastal path runs along the shore towards Le Guilvinec at 4 km west and Loctudy at 6 km east. Pointe de Lesconil and its light, a 17 m white tower built in 1921, at 500 m on foot. The village has a crêperie, an ice cream shop and a Bigouden smokehouse for local smoked fish. Haliotika fisheries discovery centre in Le Guilvinec explains the local langoustine fishery.
History
Lesconil was one of the main sardine and tuna ports of the Pays Bigouden in the first half of the 20th century, with canneries supplying Paris and London. The fleet has shifted to inshore trawling for langoustines and hake since the 1980s.
