Approach and anchoring

Entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan through the Port-Navalo pass, then north-east towards Île Berder and Baden. Strong tidal currents in the gulf can exceed 5 knots on spring ebb. Approach on slack water. Watch for the rocky plateau of Les Sept Îles, drying heads marked on SHOM chart 7034. Watch for oyster-farming boulders near the stakes when swinging, and carry a long warp, as the buoy chains lie on the bottom.

Practical

36 spots on sand, the buoys privately owned, so contact the Baden town hall or harbour office. An owner may arrive and move a visiting boat on, though a night can be free. No services on site. Ponton du Blair 0.3 NM west for a closer shore landing. Locmariaquer 1.1 NM south for provisions and water.
