Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the S with no dangers in the final quarter mile. Drop on sand in 3 to 8 metres, holding is good. Shelter from NW through S, exposed to E and SE winds which push a short swell into the bay. In season jet skis and fast craft work the bay and their wash keeps it rolly until after sundown.
Practical
No services on the mooring. Saint-Aygulf harbour is 0.1 nm S for water, fuel and shops. Port-Fréjus lies 1.8 nm NE with full marina services.
Ashore
Plage de Saint-Aygulf runs along the shore, sand and fine shingle. Village centre with bakeries, a daily covered market and restaurants is 300 m inland from the beach. Coastal path west toward the Esterel red rocks.
