Approach and anchoring

Approach from the west, leaving the Ile des Embiez to the south-west. Entrance faces north-west, protected by a rubble-mound breakwater. Maximum draught 1.5 m, so deeper-keel yachts should use the outer pontoons. Exposed to a swell from the west and south-west when the mistral sets up a fetch across the Gulf of La Ciotat. VHF 9.

Practical

450 berths with visitor capacity listed with the harbour office. Water and power on the pontoons, showers and toilets in the sanitary block. A night runs around 50 euros for a 10 metre boat, less for smaller craft. For the visitor pontoon, head in and follow the alley round towards the harbour office. Refuges a short hop away: Port Mediterranee 0.5 NM N and Le Brusc 1.3 NM S, useful if conditions worsen.

Ashore

Sandy beach of Coudouliere runs along the port to the south, and a Mediterranean garden lies a few steps from the quay. Coastal path south leads to the Massif du Cap Sicie and its signal station at 352 m. Six-Fours town centre is 2.5 km inland, with all shops and a Saturday morning market on cours Jean Jaures.
