Approach and anchoring

River approach on the canalised Doubs. The berth is a concrete town quay between two bridges, one carrying a busy road, with room for about four or five boats of 10 to 12 m and around 1.5 m alongside. It lies about 0.9 NM east of the Écluse 62 waiting pontoon. Keep to the marked channel and watch for commercial barges. A separate berth with water and electricity for boats over 20 m lies just beyond the second bridge towards Dole, against the steep bank.

Practical

About 10 euros a night including water and electricity. The harbourmaster calls round in the evening, around 19:00, to switch on the supply and take the fee, and the mairie does not take bookings, so the few places fill early in summer. Power and water are cut during the day. Écluse 62 waiting pontoon 0.9 NM west, La Veloupe halt 5.4 NM east.

Ashore

A bakery in the village opens at 06:30 for warm bread and croissants, with a hotel-restaurant nearby and a pizzeria in Rans directly across the river. Camping des Îles sits opposite in season. The EuroVelo 6 cycle route runs along the bank.
