Approach and anchoring
Anchoring is forbidden around the islet under the Golfe du Morbihan regulation that protects the seagrass beds and bird nesting sites. Bottom of sand, mud and weed, sheltered from NW to SW. The tidal stream runs hard and reverses, and the cove shoals, so watch the depth on a spring ebb. For a legal anchorage, use Kerners-Bilouris 0.7 NM SE or the approved buoy fields off Larmor-Baden 0.9 NM NW.
Practical
A few small-craft visitor buoys have been laid near the beach; they are too small for larger yachts, and there is no other facility. Larmor-Baden has shops, restaurants and the harbour office for the nearest services.
