Approach and anchoring
Reached from Jamaica Bay through Paerdegat Basin, a channel of about 2 km. The club lies on the west side of Paerdegat Avenue North, at the foot of Paerdegat 12th Street.
Practical
A NYC Parks concession marina with seasonal berthing and year-round storage. As a private club it has no fixed hours and is generally open at weekends. Contact on 718-444-7700.
Ashore
Paerdegat Basin Park lines the channel with restored saltmarsh and walking paths. The basin opens into Jamaica Bay, part of Gateway National Recreation Area and a noted bird habitat.
