Approach and anchoring

Reached from Jamaica Bay through the Mill Basin channel, off the Belt Parkway near Exit 11N. The yard sits on Flatbush Avenue. Berthing and haul-outs are arranged by phone on 718-377-0216.

Practical

Around 300 berths plus private slips. There is a 35-ton travel lift, fuel, bottom painting, fibreglass and detailing work, shrink wrap, and a shop selling bait, tackle, ice and drinks. The yard runs 24-hour security.

Ashore

Kings Plaza shopping centre is about 1 km north along Flatbush Avenue, with supermarkets and dining. Marine Park, a saltmarsh and walking-trail reserve, lies roughly 2 km west.
