Approach and anchoring

Reached by inland waterway. Soundings are deepest at this spot, the rest of the water carrying no more than 2 to 3 metres, so a deeper draught should feel her way in. Full protection from every wind sector given the enclosed fluvial setting. Port Abeschaux lies 2 nm N, Port du Houillion 2.2 nm S along the waterway.
