Approach and anchoring
Navigable Rhône downstream of Lyon, on the Rhône-Saône axis of the VNF waterway network. Keep clear of the commercial fairway and of tug and barge traffic. Sand bottom. Strong downstream current after rainfall, watch the set when anchoring. Access is easy, but barges pass at speed and their wash can make it untenable for a small boat to lie here, close to causing damage.

No services on site. Halte fluviale de Givors Plaisance lies 1.1 nm NW and the Vienne west halte 4.3 nm SE for pontoon berths, water and refuse.
Ashore
A small shared garden with public tables sits at the end of the mooring.
