Approach and anchoring
Reached by the canalised Doubs between locks of the Rhône-Rhin canal. Deluz marina lies 7 NM south-west, Novillars pontoon 10 NM west.
Practical
Berthing costs around 20 euros a night, with water and electricity at the pontoons. The marina is now run by the restaurant on site, which is well regarded for its food; showers cost 5 euros but are clean. The town centre is close, with shops, supermarkets and a fuel station within reach.

Town centre of Baume-les-Dames within walking distance for shops, bakery and restaurants. Former abbey church of Saint-Martin in the old town. Roche du Chatard viewpoint above the valley for walkers.
