Approach and anchoring

Reached by the canalised Doubs. Intermarché with a fuel stop, plus Lidl and Aldi, all in the village, the Intermarché about 0.2 NM to the south-west. Le Châtelot halt 1.9 NM east.

Practical

A wooden quay with mooring rings lies directly behind the lock in the upper pound, in the centre of the village. Water and electricity come from automatic pillars, paid by bank card in 12 or 24 hour blocks, but the supply is unreliable: often only one pillar works and the payment machine is frequently out of order. Drawing more than about 1200 watts trips the breaker, which no one is on hand to reset. A couple of local boats often lie here long term.
