Approach and anchoring

Keep clear of the rocky foot of the cape and drop the hook in 4 to 8 m on a bottom of sand mixed with weed, so check the anchor is well dug in. Swell can work in through the channel between Porquerolles and the point. An occasional mooring buoy may be free. No buoyage, no night lighting. Port Auguier lies 1.2 nm west, Port du Niel 2 nm west.
Practical

Ashore
Sentier du littoral runs along the cliffs of the peninsula from the cape toward La Madrague, 2 km walk. Salins des Pesquiers and their flamingo ponds lie 3 km to the north on the tombolo. Village of Giens with bakery and small shops 1.5 km west.
