Approach and anchoring

Approach from the N between the Pointe du Lequin and the Pointe Sainte-Anne. Drop on the white sand in 3 to 4 metres between the posidonia patches, holding is good. Tucked behind the Pointe du Bon Renaud the cove shelters well even in strong W to NW, better than La Courtade or Notre-Dame, but it is exposed to the N and NE and the bottom shoals quickly near the beach. Ferry and shuttle wash sets it rolling by day, calm at night. Anchoring is now limited to boats under 12 metres.

Practical

No services on site. Seasonal Parc national mooring buoys in part of the bay, regulation posted on parcnational-portcros.fr. Port de Porquerolles 0.6 nm to the east for water, diesel, provisions and the harbour office on VHF 9.

Ashore

Coastal path east to the village of Porquerolles in about 20 minutes on foot. Place d'Armes, Épicerie, bakery and the Sunday market within 700 m of the port. Conservatoire botanique national at Hameau Agricole, 1.2 km inland, open to visitors.
