Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, clear of the reefs off Cap des Mèdes. Protection from NE, E and SE, best when tucked well inside in 4 to 5 m; open to southerly swell. There is good sand in the outer half of the cove, but past the middle it turns to a rock slab that will not hold, so anchor in the sand only, clear of the protected posidonia, or take an ecological mooring set by the park. Room for one boat in comfort.
Practical
No services at the calanque. Porquerolles village 1.4 NM to the east has water, provisions and a harbour office. Port Auguier 1.7 NM to the NW on the mainland side of the Giens peninsula.
