Approach and anchoring

Approach from seaward with no charted hazard in the bay itself, and keep clear of the jetty heads of Port de la Figueirette on the north-east side. The anchoring area is small, on sand in about 6 to 10 metres between the beach and the harbour. Well sheltered from the west, but a swell works in from the south-east, roughly 90 to 150 degrees, so it can roll even in a calm. Land the dinghy in the harbour rather than near the rocks off the square.

Practical

Water tap available ashore at the adjacent small harbour, where the dinghy can be left. A grocery is about 15 minutes' walk. Port de la Figueirette lies 0.1 NM to the north-east for shelter, and Port La Galère is 1.4 NM to the north-east. No berthing on site, anchor only.

Ashore

Sentier du littoral runs along the Esterel coast directly from the cove, with views onto the red volcanic rock of the Massif de l'Esterel. A diving club and a beach restaurant sit by the harbour, with more places to eat around it. Small shops of Théoule and the Pointe de l'Aiguille nature reserve are within walking distance.
