Guide
Approach and anchoring
Moderate access. Sheltered from north-west round through north to east, open to the south. The boat rolls when the wind goes south-east to east. Pilotage around Terre-de-Bas calls for more care than the Terre-de-Haut anchorages, and is not advised on a first visit to the archipelago.
Practical
Good holding on sand and gravel; seagrass covers part of the bottom, so drop on clear sand. The Terre-de-Haut mooring field is 2.2 miles to the east-north-east.
