12 places · Hudson River

Dyckman and the marinas under the Palisades cliffs, Yonkers, Nyack just above the Tappan Zee bridge, Croton and Haverstraw on the widest reach of the river, three miles across. Then the Highlands: Cornwall under Storm King, 5 miles north of West Point. Further up, Catskill and its crane unstep masts for boats bound for the Erie Canal, before Castleton and Albany.
