Boston Harbor and its islands: Charlestown to Scituate

Boston is best seen from the water: Charlestown Marina and Constitution Marina beside USS Constitution, Long Wharf and Fan Pier downtown. Offshore, the Boston Harbor Islands park, with public moorings at Peddocks and Georges booked through Dockwa, and free anchoring at your own risk, as off the north side of Great Brewster. Then the South Shore: Hull and its bay behind Hull Gut, where the tide runs hard, Hingham, Cohasset among its ledges, and Scituate. A 2.9 metre tide, and the whole harbour is a no discharge zone.
