Practical
Boatyard with travel lift for monohulls and catamarans up to 32 feet wide. Authorised Lagoon catamaran service centre. Repair and refit on power and sail. Wet berths and yard storage for hauled-out boats.
History
Founded by Steve Zimmerman in July 1981. The Mathews yard is the original site, and the company now runs further yards from Annapolis in Maryland down to Charleston in South Carolina. Past projects include the 80-ton replica of the Godspeed for the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
