Sailing club on the lower Niagara River at Youngstown, 491 Water Street, three miles from the river mouth at Lake Ontario and opposite Fort Niagara.

Approach and anchoring
Enter the lower Niagara River from Lake Ontario between Fort Niagara and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Strong outgoing current of 2 to 4 knots inside the river. Club docks lie on the east bank south of the village wharf. Guest moorings issued when free.
Practical
Member berths, transient moorings subject to availability, clubhouse with dining and showers. Active junior and adult sailing programmes. Host of the CanAm Challenge regatta each summer.
Ashore
Village of Youngstown shops and restaurants within 300 m. Old Fort Niagara historic site at the river mouth, 2 km north. Niagara-on-the-Lake reached by ferry from Youngstown across the river.
History
Founded on 29 April 1931 by 28 boaters meeting at the Youngstown Fire Hall. The sloop Blue Moon, a New York 30, anchored off the club dock on 2 July 1931, the date taken as the club's start.
