Guide
Approach and anchoring
Access through the outer harbour of Le Tréport, then via the lock giving way to the inner basin. The lock operates around high water. Entrance exposed to north-westerly swell. Channel marked by red and green buoys.
Practical
Club facilities for members and visiting crews affiliated to FFVoile. Water and electricity on the pontoons of the wet dock. Shops, bakeries and restaurants in the town centre a few minutes on foot.
Ashore
Funicular railway links the quay to the cliff top, rebuilt in 2006, free of charge. Chalk cliffs of Le Tréport and Mers-les-Bains rise to 106 m, among the highest in Europe. Beach of shingle and sand directly east of the harbour.
