Approach and anchoring
Shallow southern end of the lake near the Bout-du-Lac nature reserve. Entrance marked by the club pontoons. The Roc de Chère and the narrows of Duingt lie 2 to 3 NM north. The thermal winds of Lake Annecy, the northerly Fournaise in the morning and the southerly Rebat in the afternoon, shape daily sailing.
Practical
Around 45 berths, mostly dedicated to club members and dinghy sailing. Launching ramp. Shops in Doussard village 1 km from the port. Fuel and larger services are available at the Port d'Annecy, 6 NM to the north.
Ashore
Bout-du-Lac nature reserve borders the harbour, a 84-hectare Natura 2000 wetland with reedbeds and the Ire and Eau Morte deltas. The Voie Verte cycleway runs from Doussard to Annecy along the western shore, 33 km of former railway line. The Roc de Chère, a listed site, can be walked from Talloires 3 NM north.
